A glyph art graphic made as a piece for an imaginary computer game. Glyph art uses shapes or font-like characters in order to compose an image. Summer Shower was composed using the software Playscii.
Risograph is a printing process invented in Japan now celebrated worldwide as a highly popular medium of reproduction for artists and zine authors. This exclusive A3 print (29.7 x 42 cm/ 11.7 x 16.5") is signed and numbered (edition of 20).
Similar to Screen printing - Riso printing only uses spot colour. Summer Shower is reproduced via features four individual inks and unique stencils (masters): RISO FLURO Pink, METALLIC Gold, Orange and Blue, each meticulously layered to deliver deep punchy colour reproduction. Please note, this means Riso prints can be unpredictable and each piece could have its own quirks.
Risograph inks are also plant-based, making it better for the environment. Summer Shower is printed on 250gsm Eco100 off-white paper stock: a first class, environmentally responsible offset paper, produced using FSC® Certified, 100% Post Consumer Recycled, PCF pulp.
Delivered unframed with protective sleeve and backing board.
