Refund policy

If your item has arrived damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible! To initiate a return, please reach out to us within 30 days after receiving your item to process a replacement for your product. Claims lodged outside these times will result in your claim being declined. 

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Email a photo/video clip of the damaged product to hello@chroma.nz
  2. Once damage is confirmed, a prepaid return label will be emailed to you. Send the product back in its original packaging or whatever packaging you have handy.
  3. As soon as you drop the return parcel off, contact us ASAP so we can set up a replacement or refund. Your replacement will get sent out in 1-2 business days (based on inventory).
  4. If the product is found to be defective or damaged, we will pay for shipping both ways.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide parcel returns for international customers outside of New Zealand. Please contact us at hello@chroma.nz if you are an international customer with a defective or damaged product.


Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  Furthermore, please do not dispose of the original packing (including the outer shipping bag, as New Zealand post will require this for inspection.)


Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as apparel which has been worn/ washed, due to health & safety protocols. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

Unfortunately we can not offer exchanges, refunds or returns if you have changed your mind after an order.  

If you have received the wrong item, variant or sizing from your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible at hello@chroma.nz

For incorrect sizing on apparel items, please double check sizing on all T-shirt orders in advance, our tees are measured in NZ size. We can offer returns on wrong sizing for domestic orders returned within 7 days after the purchased date.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer international exchanges at this time for apparel due to a combination of shipping costs and health & safety protocols.


Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
